Using Inverse Matrices in Real Life

i think this is very interesting!!
we can use matrices to create a cryptogram
cryptogram is a message written according to a secret code.
From greek word kryptos meaning hidden and gramma meaning letter.
steps 2 create a cryptogram:
. Assign a number to each letter in the alphabet with out a blank space.
. Convert the message to numbers partitioned into 1*2 uncoded row matrices.
. To encode a message choose a 2*2 matrix A that has an inverse and multiply the uncoded row matrices by A on the right to obtain coded row matrices.
for example:
convert : GET HELP
. 7 5 20 0 8 5 12 16
. [7 5] [20 0] [8 5] [12 16]
. encode use A= 2 3
-1 -2
to see the answer just download the following:

we can encode and decode!!!

  1. it's an interresting new that we can use matrices to create a message written according to a secret code...
so can you please encode my name:)..
btw it's an excellente way of cheating during an exam that is not related to math...

  4. HELLO..
Im sure noone has thought about that before,so that just very very interesting, that just gave us an idea for the final exam...more and more mathematics is becomin more and more inspiring,a secret code is after alll made up of number arranged in a way..so definetly it has a relation with matrices...

  5. hello everyone, first of all i have to say that the website is very well done and i have to say that i havent really thought about how all of electronic machines and devices work but now i began to realise that in fact most of the things are made up of mathematics and more precisely matrices, i think that the use of matrices can be very useful to different security matters and when i saw this websites i really knew lot of things and obtained lot of information abou different things
